This important program is being offered for the 7th. season at Second Church.
The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid and CPR program is open to both first-time students as well as those desiring certification renewal. All community members are welcome to learn the critical lifesaving skills for adults, children and infants.
Fred Gronberg is well known for his emergency care teaching in the workplace, for schools, health care professionals and community groups and he is volunteering his time for this program. Fred will guide you through the learning process for certification in 3 exciting nights aided by his energy, enthusiasm and humor. Learning techniques include films, lectures, and skills practice including instruction in using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The course itself is free and Fred volunteers his time - we ask for a one-time fee of $60 (payable at class) to cover the cost of books, materials, AHA certificates (2 yrs) and nightly dinner. Each class will include a dinner, beverage and lots of fun!
