The Reverend Laura Gronberg

Laura is the 30th settled pastor of Second Congregational Church of Boxford, United Church of Christ.

Laura comes to Second Church with joy after serving as a chaplain at Wayside Hospice in Wayland, MA. Laura received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religious Studies in 1994 from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. She received her Master’s of Divinity in May 2008 from Andover Newton Theological School where she was inducted into the Jonathan Edwards Honor Society.

Laura is married to Fred who is an Emergency Care Instructor, among his varied talents and together, they have two children. Matthew is attending Wake Forest Univ. and Rachel is attending Davidson College – both located in NC.

Laura has been a life-long member of the United Church of Christ, and is the daughter and sister of UCC clergy. Laura was an active member of the Wellesley Congregational Church in Wellesley, Massachusetts before coming to Second Church. It is with deep gratitude that she serves as pastor of our warm and welcoming community of faith.
